Class Schedule:
The TJP School Year Program is divided into three 10-week terms:

  1. Spring 2010: March 2, 2010 to May 4, 2010
  2. Fall 2010: Dates to be determined (starting in September)
  3. Winter 2010: Dates to be determined (starting in December)

Rehearsal Location:

Groups meet each Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the length of the session at Capitol Keyboard,
13401 Chenal Parkway in
Little Rock.

Performances:
Public concerts are held at local jazz venues during the last week of each term.

Tuition:
Tuition for each 10 week session is $200, or two payments of $100, plus a one-time $15 registration fee (returning students do not pay the registration fee). You may join TJP at any time during each term until the seventh week (for the Spring 2010 tem, April 16, 2010 is the final registration date). If you register for TJP after the first term session, your tuition will be adjusted to the amount of sessions you will attend. For example, if you sign up on the fourth session, your tuition would be $120 ($20 for six sessions) instead of the full $200.

Eligibility:
At this time we welcome musicians ages 12 and up, who have been playing their instrument for at least two years and have some experience playing jazz.

How to Register:
If you are interested in applying for the program, simply download and complete the application form. There is a one-time $15 registration fee that can be mailed to the address on the form or paid in-person at your first TJP rehearsal. Upon acceptance you will receive a registration confirmation. Sometimes there are waiting lists for certain instruments, and applicants are taken in the order they apply.
